During my stint as agony aunt at Vintage Life Magazine, I became rather used to answering people queries about aspects of their lives and giving advice. Whether they follow the advice or not is up to them, but I enjoyed the way it opened up situations for discussion and debate. Some were more tricky than others, a few were common sense, but when you are so wrapped up in a predicament often you just need someone to say how it actually is when you just cant see it yourself.

As fate would have it I recently saw this clip on YouTube starring the delectable Jon Hamm of Don Draper and Mad Men fame and had a lighbulb moment- so I’m going to try out “Ask A Grown Woman AKA Ask Susie”
